Samsung Galaxy Tab launches in Singapore

The Samsung Galaxy Tab is a 7-inch tablet powered by Android 2.2. It allows users to enjoy PC-like web-browsing and multimedia content and stay connected via voice and video calls, emails, SMS/MMS and social networks on the move. It supports the latest Adobe Flash Player and is able to play music and HD video in a wide range of formats.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab will be available in Singapore from 13th November 2010 at the following Samsung outlets – Vivo City, Causeway Point, Jurong Point, Bugis, Plaza Singapura, Great World City, Ion – without contract for SGD$998.

It is also available to SingTel customers with contract at the following plans (no pricing available yet):

You can pre-order at SingTel’s Samsung Galaxy Tab Pre-Order site from 30th October to 12th November. Pre-order customers will receive a free Bluetooth headset and a pair of tickets to an exclusive Galaxy Tab party.

    if it is, who will need to pay for a 3G contract in such a small red-dot mini tiny island like S’pore.

    theoretically u can serve the internet without a need of a 3G contract.

    so don’t waste money unnecessry,

    unless the telcos tempered with the ……….
