  • Swype v3 introduces two major new features: Tap Correction and Horizontal Word Choice List
  • Our Tap Correction engine utilizes many of the concepts that make swyping so accurate. Seamlessly go from typing to swyping and back without missing a beat!
  • The Horizontal Word Choice List replaces our popup word choice window, giving users an experience more in-line with evolving Android standards. It also makes dictionary control and word selection faster and easier.
  • Swype v3 is available for devices with HVGA, WVGA, FWVGA, QVGA, WQVGA, WSVGA, qHD screen sizes
  • Introducing a special Honeycomb-only WXGA version for Android tablets, with features like “moveable keyboard” (3 positions – bottom left, bottom center, bottom right) that you won’t find anywhere else!

HTC ChaCha – The Social Facebook Phone – Available in Singapore Exclusive to SingTel

The HTC ChaCha is available in Singapore exclusively to SingTel customers from 14 June 2011. Powered by Android Gingerbread 2.3.3 technology, the HTC ChaCha is the first smartphone to feature a dedicated Facebook button for one‐touch access to the key functions of Facebook.

With a single press of the button, customers can update their status, upload photos, share websites, ‘Check In’ to a location and more. For example, customers can take a photograph of friends on their phone and upload it instantly toFacebook by simply pressing the button. Or they can share with their friends what song they are listeningto by pressing the button while listening to music on the phone; the music track is automatically identified and shared on Facebook. The button is context‐aware, pulsing with light whenever there is an opportunity to share content or updates through Facebook.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I have the pleasure of obtaining the new SingTel Priority 7.2Mbps Mobile Broadband (BBoM) service to test out their network. Together with Ridz.sg, we will be going around Singapore over the next few weeks to test this new BBoM service and see if the “typical speed range” is in fact within what SingTel has claimed based on both our typical usage.

OMG! This is amazing stuff! Essentially you give URL Droplet access to your dropbox account, then give URL Droplet a url to a file you want to download into your dropbox, and it magically appears into your dropbox which you can sync across multiple devices automatically. This is so simple, it’s mind-blowing.
