Sony has announced a new line-up for Sony VAIO S Series – a slim, power-packed 15.5 inch notebook in addition to current VAIO S Series. The new Sony VAIO S Series model offers all the performance and thinness of its 13.3 inch sibling, while adding a larger screen to suit anyone who needs more room to work and play.
Key Points:
- Intel® Core™ i7 processor and AMD Radeon™ HD 6630M GPU with 1GB VRAM
- Dynamic Hybrid Graphic System, allowing users to switch between SPEED mode for fastest performance or STAMINA mode
- 15.5 inch wide-screen 1920×1080 Full HD VAIO Display Plus
- 5 hours of battery life; an optional Sheet Battery is available providing up to 10 hours
- 1.96 kg and 24.5 mm slim body
- backlit keyboard, dedicated numeric keypad, and larger touch pad with multi-gesture control supports Flick, Tap and Scroll touch gestures
- HD web camera powered by ‘Exmor’ technology
The new line-up of Sony VAIO S Series notebooks will be available in Singapore from September 2011 (predict to be end of September).
