BlackBerry BBX is the next generation mobile platform that takes the best of the BlackBerry platform and the best of the QNX platform to connect people, devices, content and services.
The BlackBerry BBX platform will include BBX-OS, and will support BlackBerry cloud services and development environments for both HTML5 and native developers. BBX will also support applications developed using any of the tools available today for the BlackBerry PlayBook – including Native SDK, Adobe AIR/Flash and WebWorks/HTML5, as well as the BlackBerry Runtime for Android Apps – on future BBX-based tablets and smartphones.

Remember the awesome image deblurring technology Adobe showed off during Adobe MAX 2011? Check out the video above. The official videos from Adobe is now available for consumption.
The sneaks are intended to give Adobe MAX 2011 attendees a look at future technologies. These technologies may, or may not, make it into future versions of Adobe products. The demos are currently being hosted on AdobeTV, and include:
RIM is offering a selection of free premium apps worth more than USD$100 to customers around the world as an expression of appreciation following the recent service disruptions that affected customers in Europe, the Middle East, India Africa, Latin America and North America. These premium free apps will be made available starting October 19, 2011 until December 31, 2011.
The complete selection of premium apps will become available to download at BlackBerry App World over a period of four weeks beginning Wednesday, October 19th. The selections over this period will include the following (with more to come):
RIM’s enterprise customers will also be offered one month of free Technical Support. Current customers will be offered a complimentary one month extension of their existing Technical Support contract, and customers who do not currently have a Technical Support contract will be offered a one month trial of RIM’s BlackBerry Technical Support Services – Enhanced Support, free of charge. Google is doing their clean up of their services, and Google Buzz is the next one to get the axe, among other services. Google Buzz will be decommissioned in a few weeks together with the Buzz API (November 14th 2011).
Other services that will be phased out on January 15th 2012 includes: Code Search, Jaiku, iGoogle Social features, University Research Program for Google Search.

Out of all the public submissions, only 20 will be selected. After that, only one winner will be selected by public voting (30%), and celebrity judges and SingTel senior executives (70%).
