Apple Updates:
- PC devices made up 76% of Apple’s revenues
- Sold an astonishing 315 million devices through last year, 62 million in Q4 2011.
Siri:
- Siri in Japanese is a part of iOS 5.1
- Available today
- Rolling it out in Japan over the next few weeks.
App Store:
- 585,000 apps
- 25 billion apps downloaded
- 25 billionth app was downloaded in China
iCloud
- 100 million iCloud
- iTunes in the cloud now supports movies
Apple TV
- movies and TV shows now support 1080p with a “streamlined new user interface”
- iTunes playlists from iCloud
- access to movies already purchased in iCloud
- iTunes Match support
- Photo stream support
- Apple TV retains the same low price of $99, available from 16th March 2012
iPad
- 15.4m in the last quarter alone
- Favourite for e-mail, web-surfing, e-reading, gaming.
- 200k+ over custom apps specifically for iPad
The New iPad

- Compared to Tegra 3, Apple says the A5 is “twice as fast” and the A5X offers “four times the performance”
