On 9 & 10 March, Microsoft took to the streets in Singapore (including at the IT Show) and challenged smartphone users on a series of tasks to see whether their devices were faster than the Windows Phone.

If they won, they got $100. If they lost, they had to tell the world that they got #smokedbywindowsphone.

After 2 days, the results are – 38 wins, 3 draws, 3 losses. The 3 losses were to iPhones, if I’m not wrong.

Does speed of usage really matter to you? If so, maybe a Nokia Lumia 800 Windows Phone 7.5 might be for you.
