The Singapore Heart Foundation is a non-profit charitable organisation which aims to battle against heart disease in Singapore. SHF helps to educate the public on heart disease and supports research initiatives of cardiovascular disease in Singapore as well.
Through the SHF-Isetan Foundation Heart Wellness Centre, a wide range of facilities, equipment and healthcare expertise are available to at-risk groups and patients who suffer from heart disease. Its Heart Support Groups provide an educational and informational support network to patients and their families to help them to adjust to life in the aftermath of a heart attack.
Patients who require financial assistance with the implantation of mecahnical heart devices may also apply to SHF for financial aid up to $20,000.
Do your part for charity by helping to raise funds for cardiovascular disease patients. The first step to helping out is easy: Attend the upcoming fundraising event, “Paddle and Love It!” held by SHF and the Singapore Canoe Federation.
