Enterprises in Australia now get Hosted Exchange enabled by Parallels

With a demand triggered by SMBs for advanced email capabilities, with options for collaboration, sharing and active synchronisation, iiNet, Australia’s second largest DSL Internet Service Provider (ISP) and the leading challenger in the country’s telecommunication market has implemented Hosted Exchange email services to its SMB customers, enabled by Parallels.

With approximately 1.2 million SMBs in Australia, iiNet will leverage the end-to-end automation and scalability capabilities of the Parallels Automation platform to roll out a Hosted Exchange service, offering customers seamless integration with Microsoft Outlook, a rich web client, synchronisation across their mobile devices and tools for improved team collaboration.

The deployment of Parallels Automation enabled iiNet to include Hosted Exchange in the existing platform and introduce the service to their customers within three months, a relatively speedy timeframe.

According to David Dzienciol, Regional Vice President and General Manager, Asia Pacific, “Parallels Automation has equipped iiNet’s customers with a full suite of email capabilities while still offering simplified integrated billing and self service capabilities”.

This new offering enables SMB customers to save on purchasing and managing their own software and hardware systems required to support their email needs.

Service Providers can learn more about Parallels Automation by visiting the Parallels Cloud Services website at http://www.parallels.com/cloudservices/.
