Buy apps on Google Play by charging it to your Singtel Bill from 15th August 2013!

Charge it, download it and play! It’s that simple. Singtel offers direct carrier billing, which means you don’t need a credit card to pay for your Google Play apps, you just need an account with Singtel. Prepaid Singtel users need to ensure enough balance in their prepaid card while post paid customers get all their app purchases consolidated in their monthly bill.

SingTel is first carrier in Southeast Asia to allow its customers to charge their Google Play purchases directly to their monthly mobile bill or prepaid account, and according to Ms Gan Siok Hoon, SingTel’s Vice President of mCommerce, said: “SingTel is excited to offer customers, who do not have credit cards, access to more than one million apps and games available on Google Play. The introduction of direct carrier billing is part of our ongoing efforts to provide our customers with the best and most seamless Android experience.”

How?

  • Select apps you want
  • Register
  • Validate by ensuring you are connected to SingTel’s 3G/4G network

Users can also get a refund to their bill / pre paid card if they change their minds about downloading the application – simply click to ask for a refund within 15mins.
