Mi Note – Premium made affordable

Xiaomi has announced that it will be bringing its flagship device, the 5.7 inch Mi Note (64GB) to Singapore. It will be available on at 28th July 2015, 12 pm. Singtel will also be the exclusive telco retailer for the Mi Note. Originally priced at S$569, post-paid customers can get it at attractive prices from Singtel, for example S$0 under Combo Plan 3.

With an elegant design of curved Gorilla Glass panels wrapped around an ultra-thin 6.95mm body, it boasts a premium feel of glass against skin while having a better grip. The aluminium bezel that surrounds the Mi Note measures just 4.1mm across. It is extremely tough albeit lightweight.

With a beautiful 5.7″ full HD display, it also has the following features :

  • 386 Pixels Per Inch
  • 1400: 1 Contrast Ratio – This allows images to appear sharper on the Mi Note, with deeper blacks and purer whites
  • 95% NTSC (Colour Gamut) – The Mi Note is 30% richer in colour than the sRGB standard used on other smartphones
  • Sunlight Display – This technology allows you to enjoy crystal-clear views even under bright sunlight

The Mi Note also supports 4G dual SIM. Intelligent dual SIM features allow you to manage calls and messages easily according to your preferred network and data settings for each card. Based on history, it is also able to automatically select which SIM card to use when you call or text someone.

With a 13MP rear Sony camera and 4MP front camera, the Mi Note is able to take beautiful images with options including the manual mode, 32-second exposure, night mode, Quick Exposure Adjustment tool and HDR functions. The front camera also comes with a beautify function, which intelligently guesses your age and gender in order to apply 36 smart filters.

Xiaomi’s Mi Note also provides high quality sound output, similar to a professional music player. With a 192kHz/24bit studio quality sound, you can now use the Mi note to play lossless format music for an authentic and detailed sound.

Xiaomi also announced a unique partnership with Uber to provide on-demand delivery of Mi Note through an exclusive pre-launch flash sale in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, with more cities to be announced soon. Uber riders will be able to order limited quantities of Mi Note through the Uber app on 27th July 2015, a full day before it will be available on buying_process
