The Sony NEX-7 is slightly different, providing an insane 24.3 megapixels on such a small body. It comes with a new TRINAVI control, where two control dials on the top of the camera are complimented by a control wheel. Pushing the navigation button cycles quickly through various shooting modes, allowing enthusiasts to make custom adjustments and control images with the flexibility of a DSLR camera. It also comes with an XGA OLED (2,359K dot) TruFinder electronic view-finder, 7.5 cm (3.0″) Xtra Fine LCD TruBlack LCD screen, and allows manual focus during video shooting. The Sony NEX-7 also captures up to 10fps (AF/AE fixed) in speed priority continuous mode. The Sony NEX-7 also comes with an Auto-lock Accessory Shoe, a first for E-mount cameras to extend the use of more accessories for the NEX series.
Sony is really giving a good fight with their DSLTs, and this new baby, the Sony Alpha A77, is just that. Spotting the largest (if I say so myself) 24.3 MP Exmor APS HD CMOS Sensor together with the XGA (2,359k dots, that’s a lot packed into such a small screen) OLED Tru-Finder digital view-finder and yet again increasing the continuous burst shots with auto-focus to 12 fps, this ruggedised (YES!) DSLT camera is truly a camera I don’t mind forking money out for.
