For those developers out there, the Microsoft Surface 2.0 SDK will be made available (hopefully in a few weeks) to everyone for free. The Microsoft Surface 2.0 SDK will include the Surface Simulator for developers to start writing Surface applications immediately.

M1 today announced it will offer iPad 2 with Wi-Fi + 3G in Singapore on 20 May. M1 will offer all iPad 2 with Wi-Fi + 3G models with select tariff plans on a two-year contract, as well as a range of attractive data plans for iPad 2 without a contract.

Customers can buy all models of iPad 2 with Wi-Fi + 3G, beginning 20 May at M1 Shop at Paragon from 8am onwards and at 10am from all other M1 Shops.

The Great Singapore Telco 3G Speed Test (#SGTelcoTest) for iPhone 4 Has Officially Started

I have officially started doing my speedtest around Singapore, and covered a few locations today. Apparently, SingTel and M1 are kind of tied for being great at certain areas, but poor at other areas. StarHub seems to be consistently bad at every one of the major areas I’ve visited. I’ll do a video and some explanation of how I’m doing the test in another post at a later date.

The speed of the 3G connection depends on various factors and results might defer from person to person.
