I have officially started doing my speedtest around Singapore, and covered a few locations today. Apparently, SingTel and M1 are kind of tied for being great at certain areas, but poor at other areas. StarHub seems to be consistently bad at every one of the major areas I’ve visited. I’ll do a video and some explanation of how I’m doing the test in another post at a later date.

You can follow my twitter for the latest updates or follow the hash tag #SGTelcoTest. You can get the latest updates also from the spreadsheet above as I will update the results as soon as I’m done testing.

Disclaimer: These results are independent, and are taken by myself using Speedtest.net Mobile Speed Test. It is just data and not representative of the overall performance of each individual telco. The speed of the 3G connection depends on various factors and results might defer from person to person.
