Oh yes. That’s right people. I sat on this Chinook and flew over eastern part of Singapore, and took a some amazing scenery and landscape photos from way above. I don’t think many people get the chance to ride in the Chinook. Let me know what you think.

I had the great opportunity to take a few photos (actually quite a whole lot) of the RSAF Open House Aerial Display. Had to borrow a huge zoom lens, but the photos turned out pretty great.
The aerial display is a thrilling and exhilarating 35 minutes showcase of the our RSAF air power at work. It depicts our Island Air Defense, Close Air Support and Joint Operations. It features the F-15SG, F-16C, AH-64D, CH-47D and Super Puma in joint operations with the Army and also the Red Lions Military Free-fall and Fly-Past by SYFC’s DA-40.

It is that time of the year again, where the Republic of Singapore Air Force show you their superb planes, technologies, not to mention the amazing air show display.
The RSAF Open House 2011, will be held at Paya Lebar Air Base this year and is open to the public from 28 to 29 May 2011 (9.30 am to 7 pm on 28 May; 8.30 am to 7 pm on 29 May)
